Ocean County, NJ– November 17, 2011, As part of our commitment to children and families, the Ocean County YMCA will open its doors to the community during National Family Week. From November 20th through 27th residents are invited to TRY THE Y and enjoy a family swim, shoot some hoops or work out in the cardio or strength training centers.
“The Y is for everyone. We realize no two families are the same,” said Rodger D. Koerber, President & CEO, of the Ocean County YMCA. “We are dedicated to helping children and families become healthy, connected and secure. We do this through fitness, fun and providing a place to connect,” added Koerber.
At the Y, we believe that small steps lead to big changes. In an effort to support families to feel stronger and live better lives we encourage them to eat healthier, play every day, take time to get together, go outside and sleep well.
