Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey (CVCJ) will honor Lori Stokes, anchor of ABC Eyewitness News this Morning and Eyewitness News at Noon, and Dr. Robi Ludwig, Psy.D, nationally known psychotherapist and regular contributor to the Today Show, CNN Headline News, and The Fox News Channel, at its annual Women of Distinction Fashion Show and Gift Auction, Tuesday, June 26, at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center (formerly Quality Inn), 815 Route 37 West, Toms River. Doors open at 6 P.M. for the gift auction preview; the fashion show begins at 7 P.M.
"We are thrilled to be honoring both Lori Stokes and Dr. Ludwig at our event this year," said Sara Farley, Director of Development for CVCJ. “Millions of viewers know Stokes for her adept news analysis and “Dr. Robi” for her discussion and insight on psychological/lifestyle issues. Both are wonderful role model women and an active members of their community, dedicating their time to bringing awareness to many charities within the tri-state area.
Tripp Rogers, Magic 100.1 radio personality, will emcee the fashion show. Models include some of the area’s most distinguished and successful professionals from various fields, including: the Reverend Sandra Gonzalez, Spirit-Filled Life Ministries; Dianne DeOliviera, Magic 100.1; Tori Lattig, Endless Pawsibilities; Anne Kraljic, Merrill Lynch Financial; Susan McClure, Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore; Chris Sansone, Women Selling Cars to Women; and Denise Van Tassell, Alcoeur Gardens.

CVCJ is a non-profit interfaith agency whose mission is to assist the frail and homebound elderly with everyday tasks, enabling them to remain independent in their own homes. All services are free. Over 1,000 volunteers assist more than 2,000 senior citizens each month with transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, relief for dementia and Alzheimer’s caregivers, reassuring phone calls, and pet/friendly visits.
