NJROTC Cadets Selected to Attend Aerospace Seminar

Manchester Township High School NJROTC Cadets, Melissa Morelli and Kaiser Tan, were selected to attend the 2012 Aerospace STEM Seminar at Emery-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida this June.  Over 80,000 NJROTC cadets were screened to fill 200 seats at this year’s event. "We are very proud of our selectees," said instructor Timothy Hinger.

Cadets Morelli and Tan are third year cadets in the Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) program at Manchester Township High School.  Cadet Morelli currently fills the billet as the unit’s Administrative Officer; responsible for maintaining awards, promotions, and data for each cadet.  Cadet Tan is the unit’s senior enlisted representative (Command Master Chief); responsible for maintaining order and discipline among the members.

"Their hard work academically here at MTHS has earned them opportunities to pursue their dreams toward a college education," said Hinger.
