Car Stop Leads To Drug Arrest In Manchester

Richard Nichols, of Anthony Way in Jackson was arrested by Officer Michael Guarino after he was stopped on Route 571

 

A 43-year-old Jackson Township resident was arrested and charged for possession of Alprazolam on Friday, police said

Richard Nichols, of Anthony Way in Jackson was arrested by Officer Michael Guarino after he was stopped on Route 571.

During the stop, Richard Nichols was found to be in possession of 21 Alprazolam (Xanax) tablets that were not prescribed to him, police said.

It was also learned that he had an outstanding no-bail warrant out of the Lancaster, Pa.

Richard Nichols was lodged in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of bail. In addition to the no-bail warrant, Nichols was charged with Possession of a Schedule IV Drug, and an additional $5,000.00 bail was set.

This matter is pending court action.

I like the cars- alot of different towns have chargers, SUVs etc now along with other than traditional white Ford. It works to get those who are breaking the law.
