County Sheriff's Department Announces August Arrests in Manchester
Four township residents arrested in August
The Ocean County Sheriff's Department arrested three Manchester residents in August, according to an arrest blotter released by the law enforcement agency.
County-wide, 115 people were arrested, 33 of whom were wanted in connection with outstanding child support obligations totaling $493,999.90. Two others were fugitives from justice.
The Manchester residents arrested include:
Aug. 14: Woodchuck Parkway resident Robert P. Neal, 54, was arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives P. Williams and R. Stark on an Ocean County Superior Court warrant for failure to pay $6,000 in child support. Neal was processed and lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending first appearance.
Aug. 14: Walter J. Iovino, 41, of Wyoming Avenue was arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives P. Williams and K. Allmann on an Ocean County Superior Court warrant for failing to pay $36,281 in child support. Iovino was processed and lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending first appearance.
Aug. 31: Patrick Sweeney, a 50-year-old Martin Street resident, was arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives C. Watkins and P. Williams on an Ocean County Superior Court Warrant for violation of probation on original charges of aggravated arson in the second degree. Authorities lodged Sweeney in the Ocean County Jail with no option of bail.
The department did not report any arrests made in Lakehurst for the month of August.
