Have a Question for Obama or Romney? Let Patch Know!
If you have a question for the candidates, submit it in the comments section below and it could be asked during the televised Oct. 16 town hall presidential debate
If last Wednesday’s presidential debate left you with more questions than answers, here’s your chance for the presidential candidates to address the issues that most matter to you.
The next presidential debate will be in a town hall meeting format at Hofstra University in Long Island, where voters will ask President Obama and Mitt Romney about domestic and foreign policy.
Patch is asking you, our readers, to participate by submitting questions for the candidates.
All you have to do is post your question in the comments section below, and we’ll send it to the Commission on Presidential Debates. The Commission is partnering with Patch's parent company Aol, along with Google and Yahoo, to take questions from web users across the country.
Don’t wait until Nov. 6 to have a say in this year’s election. Share your thoughts in the comments!

How do you combat a false president who promises everything to everyone and delivers nothing to all?

Jose: how do you combat the people that vote for a Pres. because of skin color instead of making an informed, intelligent decision? These are the same people that donate millions of $ and demean anyone that voices an opposing opinion.

Pres. Obama: in Libya, Ambassador Stevens asked repeatedly for more security. Why was he turned down when only a few months before there were attacks on other foreign buildings? Pentagon and other State Dept officials say they knew within 24 hrs it was a terrorist attack, why did Hilary Clinton, Ms. Rice, you and the WH insist weeks later that it was the result of a YouTube video? Why not be honest with the Stevens and the Marines killed families?

Why do you both support our illegal wars and unconstitutional federal reserve and keep hawking and fear mongering over the myth of "terrorists", while beating the war drum with Iran

Yes - To Romney - how could you stand there and lie through your teeth without so much as breaking a sweat? Are you a sociopath?
To Obama - how could you let Romney's lies go unchallenged?

How about a question instead of an argument?
To both candidates: You have each been critical of the present federal income tax structure. State specifically each change in the current income tax rates that you would make, who would be affected, and the resulting change in revenue (either up or down). State specifically each (or, say, 5) loophole, deduction, credit, etc. that you would reduce or eliminate, how you would do so, and how much additional revenue would result. If you would reduce or eliminate it only for "wealthy" taxpayers, then state specifically the threshold for reduction or elimination.
