Lakehurst Man Charged With Burglarizing Crestwood In Manchester

Parry Lee Dupont was charged with three counts of burglary and two counts of theft

A 41-year-old Lakehurst resident was arrested Tuesday in connection with a three-month investigation into a series of burglaries in Manchester's Crestwood Village VII section, police said.

Parry Lee Dupont was charged with three counts of burglary and two counts of theft in connection with  three reported burglaries that occurred on Sept. 21, police said.

Dupont was observed by residents walking around the community with a hand-held spray pump, police said. In one instance, he posed as a utility worker to gain access into a residence, police said.

Bail was set at $30,000, no 10 percent option.

He was transferred to the Jackson Township Police Department in lieu of charges in connection with a residential burglary in that jurisdiction.

Additional charges against Dupont within the jurisdiction of Manchester Township are pending further investigation.  The Ocean County Sheriff's Department Criminalistics Investigation Unit and K-9 unit assisted with this investigation.

Yeah, let's not keep him off the streets and out of our township and the entire community; just keep him out of your villages. How immature and self-centered.
