Manchester Township's police blotter of arrests and charges
Manchester Police Capt. Lisa Parker reported the following arrests and charges from March 20 to March 27:
March 20
Martin Brown III, 18, of Lakehurst, was arrested and charged in the Pine Lake Park section of Manchester with possession of a weapon and a controlled dangerous substance. According to police, Sgt. James Komsa made the arrest. Brown was taken to the Ocean County Jail.
Olajuawon Brown, 18, of Seaside Heights, was also arrested and charged in the Pine Lake Park section of Manchester with possession of a weapon and a controlled dangerous substance. According to police, Komsa made the arrest. Brown was taken to the Ocean County Jail.
March 21
Christopher Clark, 43, of South Toms River, was arrested on an outstanding warrant by Ptl. Robert Sharry. According to police, Clark was taken to the Ocean County Jail.
March 22
Kyle R. Eckert, 19, of Toms River, was arrested on an outstanding warrant on Route 37 by Ptl. Vincent DeRome. According to police, Eckert was taken to Ocean County Jail.
Michael Marone, 37, of Manchester, was arrested by Ptl. Stephen Hankins and charged with burglary in the Pine Lake Park section of Manchester. According to police, Marone was released pending a municipal court date.
March 25
Margarito Perez, 36, of Lakewood, was arrested and charged with DWI after being stopped by Ptl. Christian Nazaro on Route 571. According to police, Perez was released pending a municipal court date.
Robert Shell, 32, of Manchester, was arrested on an outstanding warrant by Ptl. Patrick Cervenak in the Pine Lake Park section of Manchester. According to police, Shell was released after posting bail.
March 26
Moses Jackson, 47, of Manchester, was arrested and charged with DWI following a stop by Ptl. Adam Guker on Route 70. According to police, Jackson was released pending a municipal court date.
March 27
Brian Shunk, 34, of Toms River, was arrested and charged with DWI after being stopped by Ptl. Christopher Cerullo on Route 530. According to police, Shunk was released pending a municipal court date.
