The public is invited to an evening of song and celebration Friday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the school district reported on its website.

The event will feature the Combined Manchester Middle and High School Gospel Chorus on Friday, January 18 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Manchester High School.

Tickets will be $5 for adults, $4 seniors and children over 3.

During the Board of Education meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Ridgeway School, the MTEF will present 19 Classroom Mini-Grants.
