Police Blotter: Burglary, DWI and Drug Charges Issued
Law enforcement activity reported by Manchester officers last week
Driving while intoxicated charges were among the offenses reported by Manchester police officers last week, according to a log of police activity released by Capt. Lisa Parker.
The first came on Tuesday, Oct. 30, when Jason E. Klapmuts, 31, of Manchester was charged with DWI on Route 571 by Patrolman David Fusaro, Parker said.
Days later on Thursday, Nov. 1, township resident Christopher J. Howdyshell, 46, was charged with the same offense on Commonwealth Boulevard after being stopped by Patrolman Peter Manco, according to Parker.
Both men were released with summonses, the captain said.
Other items on last week's police blotter include:
Sunday, Nov. 4
Seaside Heights resident Michelle L. Gauthier, 21, was charged with drug possession along Route 37 by Patrolman Joseph Fastige. Parker said that Gauthier was released with a summons.
Patrolman David Fusaro charged Manchester resident Kevin Campbell, 31, with burglary in Pine Acres. Campbell was lodged in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, according to the captain.
The above charges are accusations made by police and are not an indication of guilt.
