UPDATED: Evan Jones Returns, Richard Heydorn Still Missing
Evan Jones, 19, returns to Manchester; the whereabouts of Richard B. Heydorn, 56, are still unknown
UPDATE: Just before 7:30 p.m. on Saturday evening, the Manchester Township Police Department confirmed that (Richard) Evan Jones is back home, safe and sound.
"On December 22, 2012, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Manchester Township Police received information that Evan Jones, the 19 year-old Manchester resident who had been missing since Thursday, had returned to his residence," said Lt. Vincent Manco.
At that time, Manchester Police responded to his residence and confirmed his safe return.
"The Manchester Township Police Division would like to thank all agencies that assisted in the search for Mr. Jones," said Manco.
The Manchester Police Department is looking for assistance in locating two people who went missing this week.
Police are looking for (Richard) Evan Jones, 19, from the Holly Oaks section of Manchester, who went missing on Wednesday, police said.
A 56-year-old patient of the Fresh Start Group Home, located in the Whiting section of Manchester, was also reported missing or endangered on Dec. 18, police said.
Richard B. Heydorn was last seen at approximately 5 p.m. and is believed to have walked away from the group home, police said. He is described as a white male, approximately 5 foot 9 inches, 181 pounds, blue eyes, blonde hair, light complexion and was last seen wearing a black jacket, khaki pants, black shoes with a neon orange reflective trim and a black backpack.
Heydorn may demonstrate violent tendencies, if encountered, so anyone coming in contact with him should use caution and contact local authorities immediately, police said.

Jones, meanwhile, last had contact with his family on Dec. 19 at 4 p.m. when he texted his mother and said he was going to the mall, believed to be Ocean County Mall.
Jones was not seen or heard from until 4 a.m when, prior to him being listed as missing, he was contacted by Manchester Police in the parking lot of Cranberries Bar and Grill in Whiting on Dec. 20.
Jones told police he was on his way back from school and he needed to pull over and sleep. Finding his story credible, officers allowed him to go on his way. He was last seen going east on Route 70 towards his home.
Jones is described as a black male, approximately 6 foot 1, 180 pounds, black hair, brown eyes and facial hair.
He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and a North Face wool cap. He was operating a 2000 Honda Accord with NJ registration: ZWD58F.
