Two-Vehicle Crash In Manchester Sends Paramedic To Hospital
The driver and passenger of an Oldsmobile were also sent to the hospital with minor injuries
A paramedic was hospitalized Sunday after the vehicle collided with a car on Route 547 near the Joint Military Base, police said.
At 1:31 a.m. Sunday, a MonOc Paramedic Unit and an Oldsmobile, driven by 38-year-old Urbano Flores from Lakewood, collided near the base.
The paramedic unit was traveling north on Route 547 when Flores, traveling south on the road, allegedly lost control of his vehicle and entered the northbound lane, police said.

The crash sent one of the paramedics onboard the ambulance to the hospital for minor injuries. The driver and passenger of an Oldsmobile were also sent to the hospital with minor injuries.
The accident is being investigated by Patrolman Joseph Fastige.
