A 49-year-old Whiting man with a BB gun faces drug and weapons charges after his car was stopped, police said.
Michael Brancolino was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and paraphernalia as a result of a motor vehicle stop.
A subsequent investigation resulted in a search warrant being issued and executed at his home located at 23 Fennel Ct. in Whiting, police said.
Thirty-nine grams of marijuana, digital scales and other drug paraphernalia, and a Walther .177 caliber BB gun were seized at the residence.
Brancolino was remanded to the Ocean County Jail in default of $50,000 bail, with no 10 percent option, set by Judge D. Sahin.
Brancolino is charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of crack cocaine, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a weapon and certain persons not to have weapons.
Assisting in the investigation were Ptl. Patrick Cervenak, Det. Danny Barker and Det. Albert Vega.

Understand putting him in jail on ALL the drug charges and being a looser +., but the Red Rider BB gun...come-on .....give to the Boy Scouts..just my thoughts...be safe..

NJ has tough gun control laws. You can't own a BB gun NJ without a permit and you can't own a slingshot. Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn would be in jail.
