Woman Indicted in Credit Card, Car Thefts From Manchester Woman
Ocean County grand jury indictments
A Camden woman has been named in an eight-count indictment in connection with the theft of a car and credit cards from a Manchester woman last September.
Jennifer M. Barnett, 29, was indicted by an Ocean County grand jury, sitting in Toms River, on counts of theft by unlawful taking, credit card theft, computer theft and fraudulent use of a credit card between Sept. 17 and Sept. 19 in Manchester and Toms River.
The idictment alleges Barnett stole a 2008 Lexus ES 350 as well as the PNC VISA card, a PNC bank card, a Discover card and cash belonging to Myong S. Barnett. Jennifer Barnett also is alleged to have used the PNC bank card to access Myong Barnett's bank account to obtain money, and the Discover card to purchase items from a Manchester Quick Chek and from Walmart in Toms River.
Barnett was released on her own recognizance on Dec. 4.
Others indicted by the grand jury:
- Donald W. Musico, 47, of Whiting, on a count of operating a motor vehicle during a period of license suspension for a second or subsequent driving while intoxicated conviction, on Jan. 31, 2012 in Seaside Heights. He was released with a summons.
- Vincent L. Surko, 29, of South Toms River, on drug and weapons counts from a May 17 incident in Lakehurst. Surko was indicted on four counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, for allegedly having morphine, oxymorphone and oxycodone without prescriptions and for allegedly having heroin. He also was indicted on a count of having a prohibited weapon, a gravity knife, and one count of obstructing the administration of law. He was released May 18 after posting $15,000 bail, with a 10 percent option.
