Five things to know today

It looks like we're in store for a rainy Saturday, as the National Weather Service predicts an 80 percent chance of precipitation, especially after 2 p.m.

Here's what's going on today:

1. Lakehurst will hold its annual egg hunt at 11 a.m. at Horicon Lake. With any luck, the rain will hold off.

2. The 8 p.m. Garden State Philharmonic performance at the Strand Center for the Arts in Lakewood will serve as a . Tickets were available as of yesterday. Call 732-255-0460 for more information.

3. "Fight Club" screenwriter Jim Uhls will speak at the Toms River branch of the Ocean County Library from 7  to 10 p.m. Visit the library's website for more information.

4. Toms River Intermediate North will host a Children's Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Admission is free and more information is available through email.
