Here are today's local happenings:

1. Today marks the beginning of spring break for Manchester students. Classes resume on April 26.

2. Today is your last day to file your federal and state income taxes. There's still may be time; check out our .

3. An alpaca will visit Manchester's branch of the Ocean County Library at 2 p.m. for an educational program. Register online or call 732-657-7600 for more information.

4. From 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Workforce New Jersey's Christine Karaska will be at the County Connection's Ocean County Mall office with tips on how to land the right job. Bring your resume to the Connection's office located near JC Penny's. Call 732-288-7777 for more information.

5. Capt. Donald Launer, 2010 Sailing Hall of Fame inductee, will give a demonstration of navigation tools at Methodist Church Hall on Ocean Avenue at 7 p.m. More information is available by calling 732-506-9375.
