Five things to know today

Below are five things to consider today:

1. Manchester's Environmental Commission is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. at the municipal complex on Colonial Drive.

2. The Ocean County Office of Veterans Services and Workforce N.J.'s Veterans Assistance will be available to help vets from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. If you're a veteran who needs information on employment, health services and benefits, the County Connection in the Ocean County Mall may offer assistance. Call 732-288-7777 for more information.

3. Another program at the County Connection today offers assistance with consumer issues. An Ocean County Consumer Affairs Department representative will help get answers from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the mall office. Call 732-288-7777 for more information.

4. In high school sports today, the Manchester track teams will face Pinelands Regional at 10 a.m. Girls are home, boys are away.
