April 6: Last Day for Voter Registration, Free Movie and Ladies' Night

Five things to know today

The cool-down continues as today's high is expected to reach only 50 degrees. But, don't fear, as tomorrow should see a return to near-70 degree temperatures.

Today's five things to know are below:

1. Today is the deadline to register to vote in the April 27 budget and school board election. The form is available online and can be delivered to the county clerk's office.

2. Manchester's branch of the Ocean County Library will screen "Red" at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. as part of its Feature Film Festival. The PG-13 rated action film stars Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman. 

3. Bucky Pizzarelli performs at 8 p.m. at Ocean County College as part of the MidWeek Jazz series at the Arts and Community Center Theatre. Call 732-255-0500 for more information.

4. The Lakehurst Historical Society will be open today from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Located in the oldest Roman Catholic Church in Ocean County on 300 Center St. in Lakehurst, the society houses artifacts from the borough's rich history.
