April 9: Free Pet Adoptions, National Library Week and BlueClaws

We saw a lot of rain yesterday, so let's hope for a sunnier Saturday. The National Weather Service predicts partly sunny skies and a high of 54 today.

1. Manchester's branch of the Ocean County Library will help kick off National Library Week with presentations from authors William Dunn and Tamika Newhouse. The event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., will be catered by chef Ian Smith and Zarita Mattox will perform a song. Call 732-657-7600 for more information.
