Five things to know in and around Manchester today

We are still keeping an eye on , which could impact our area this weekend. Look for reports today as Manchester and Ocean County prepare. As for today, the National Weather Service expects showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and a high of 89 degrees.

Below are some of today's local events:

1. After adjourning last month due to an excessive crowd, Manchester's Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet at 7 p.m. at . The  by Manchester Rehab Realty will be heard.

2. Those looking for some computer instruction can get help at the of the Ocean County Library. From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., a basic skills mouse class will be held.
