Feb. 17: Lakehurst Borough Council, Zumba for Kids and Computer Classes

The Lakehurst Borough Council meets tonight, the library will hold Zumba for kids, computer classes and more

Here are some things to consider for today:

1. The Lakehurst Borough Council is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m at the Community Center, 207 Center St. Check out the agenda before heading over.

2. Take your 9-13 year old to the Manchester Branch of the Ocean County Library at 6:30 p.m. for Zumba for Kids. The program encourages kids to lace up their sneakers and move around to Latin beats. Call ahead at 732-657-7600 or register online.

3. Those looking for some computer instruction can get help at the Manchester Branch of the Ocean County Library. From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., a basic skills mouse class will be held. Then, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., the library will teach participants basic internet skills. Call 732-657-7600 for to register for either program.

4. A reminder for Lakehurst residents: take the flier left on your door by the Lakehurst Fire Company to the Applebees in the Manchester Plaza and 10 percent of your bill will be donated to the volunteer organization. The promotion runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
