Five things to know in and around Manchester today

After a cool and sometimes dreary weekend, the National Weather Service expects today to be mostly sunny with a high nearing the mid-70s. 

Here are some of today's local happenings:

1.  students begin early dismissal, continuing until the last day of classes on June 16.

2.  will show "The Kids Are All Right" as part of gay and lesbian pride film month at 2 p.m. The R-rated film tells the story of two teenagers who track down their biological father.

3. From 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Workforce New Jersey's Christine Karaska will be at the County Connection's Ocean County Mall office with tips on how to land the right job. Bring your resume to the Connection's office located near JC Penny's. Call 732-288-7777 for more information.

4. It's Autograph Night when the BlueClaws take on the Hagerstown Suns at 7:05 p.m. at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood. Kids 12 and under eat free. Call 732-901-7000 for ticket information.
