Five things happening in and around Manchester today

Below are some of today's local happenings:

1. Learn basic internet skills at  from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The seminar will teach the fundamentals of using the internet, such as what the icons mean and how to navigate the internet. Call ahead at 732-657-7600.

2. "Country Strong" will be shown as part of the Feature Film Festival, also at the library, at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. The PG-13 drama focuses on the story of a rising country music singer.

3. The Ocean County Artists' Guild in Island Heights will welcome children's book illustrator Leeza Hernandez for a digital imagine creation demonstration from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Call 732-270-3111 for more information.
