Five things to know in and around Manchester today

1. "Playtivity" at  encourages children ages 4-9 to participate in a drum circle, complete with storytelling and movement. Call 732-657-7600 for more information.

2. Senator Frank Lautenberg's office will send a representative to the County Connection in the Ocean County Mall from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. to share information on what programs and services the federal government provides.
