1. "Get Low" will be shown at the Manchester Branch of the Ocean County Library at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. The PG-13 rated film tells the story of a recluse who decides to hold his own funeral while still alive to see what people say about him. Call 732-657-7600 for more information.

2. Nutrition assistance for infants and children is available from the Ocean County Health Department from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the County Connection. Representatives will be at the Connection's Ocean County Mall office to provide information on assistance programs. Call 732-288-7777 for more information.

4. The "Women  in Language and the Arts" lecture at Ocean County College will take place from 2:15 p.m. to 2:35 p.m. and will feature music by women composers. Call 732-255-0500 for more information.

5. The Lakehurst Historical Society will be open today from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Located in the oldest Roman Catholic Church in Ocean County on 300 Center St. in Lakehurst, the society houses artifacts from the borough's rich history.
