May 18: MTHS Spring Concert, Regional Day School Program and Foreign Film

Five things to know today

Showers are again predicted by the National Weather Service. A thunderstorm may also pass the area as up to half of an inch of rain may fall.

Here are today's local happenings:

1.  spring concert will be held at 6:30 p.m. The Concert Choir, Honors Choir, Concert Band, Jazz Combo and Jazz Band will perform in the school's gym, 101 South Colonial Dr.

2. "Juvenile Justice," a free workshop highlighting the needs of youth with special needs in New Jersey's juvenile justice system, will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Regional Day School in Jackson. Register online or call 732-642-8100, ext. 116.

3. The baseball and softball teams will both take on Manalapan High school at 3:45 p.m. for home games.

4. "Helena from the Wedding" will be shown at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at as part of the Foreign Film Festival. Call 732-657-7600 for more information.
