May 4: BOE Reorganization Meeting, Consumer Assistance and Sports

Here are today's local happenings:

1. The Manchester Board of Education will reorganize during a special meeting in the media center of Ridgeway Elementary at 7 p.m.

2. Manchester Middle School students are in their second day of testing and will have an early dismissal at 11:40 a.m.

3. The County Connection today will offer assistance with consumer issues. An Ocean County Consumer Affairs Department representative will help get answers from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the connection. Call 732-288-7777 for more information.

4. The Hawks girls lacrosse team will face Brick Township High School for a home game at 3:45 p.m.

5. Also in Hawks sports action today, the boys baseball team will take on Brick Township High School for an away game at 3:45 p.m.
