May 5: Lakehurst Meetings, Internet Class and Dance Show

Five things to know today

After yesterday's gloomy weather, the sun will try to peak out from behind the clouds today and temperatures should reach the mid-60s, according to the National Weather Service.

Here are some of today's local happenings:

1. Two meetings in Lakehurst tonight: at 7 p.m., the borough's redevelopment meeting begins, followed by the regular borough meeting at 7:30 p.m. Agendas are available online.

2. Learn basic internet skills at Manchester's branch of the Ocean County Library from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The seminar will teach the fundamentals of using the internet, such as what the icons mean and how to navigate the internet. Call ahead at 732-657-7600

3. In Hawks sports today, the boys tennis team will take on Long Branch at home at 4 p.m.

4. The 2011 Spring Dance Concert Series at Georgian Court University in Lakewood will host a faculty choreography show at 7 p.m. Call 732-987-2232 for more information.
