NJ Transit Adjusts Schedule for Wednesday Due to Storm

Trains will operate on an enhanced weekend schedule, with the exception of the Atlantic City line.

New Jersey Transit altered its schedule for Wednesday due to the winter storm that is currently gripping the state.

All New Jersey Transit trains will operate on an enhanced weekend schedule on all rail lines except Atlantic City rail, NJ Transit announced Tuesday night. The Atlantic City rail will operate on a normal schedule, and commuters should consult their rail line timetables for further details.

Light rail and buses will operate on a normal weekday schedule, but commuters should expect delays or detours on their routes, especially on Wednesday morning.

New Jersey Transit’s systemwide cross honoring system continues on Wednesday, meaning commuters can use their ticket or pass on an alternate travel mode—rail, light rail or bus—including private bus carriers. Additionally, all rail station buildings and waiting rooms will remain open, including evenings and overnight, through Jan. 27.
