Nuisance Snow Early This Week

Starting off with some minor snow accumulations followed by rising temperatures throughout the remainder of the week

After being teased with near 70 degree temperatures last week, we will get another quick reminder that winter is not over yet.

This is what we can expect throughout the remainder of this winter season as warm weather teases are followed quick cold blasts with minor snow accumulations.

Monday will start off with light rain in the morning. Some mixed precipitation may occur during the overnight hours but this should not be a big disruption for the morning commute.

Tuesday morning may be a bit more dicey. Our area may face accumulations of 1-to-3 inches of snow Monday night through Tuesday morning. I am leaning more toward 1 inch of snow unless the precipitation from this storm is able to make its way further north. This will be more of a nuisance storm after all the experience we now have with major snowfall amounts.

Midweek, we will see temperatures approach 50 degrees with sunny skies. Friday will consist of intermittent rain throughout the day. Temperatures will be well above freezing, reaching the mid-50s and keeping the precipitation as just rain.

Next weekend will be nothing to complain about as we'll be met with a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures in the lower 40s.
