Oct. 21: Hawks Football, Spanish Dance and Consumer Affairs

Five things to know in and around Manchester today

1. Players of all ages and skill levels are invited to attend the Chess Club at  from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The library asks that participants bring their own boards. Call 732-657-7600 for more information.

2. Pinelands Regional will travel to Manchester to take on the Hawks football team at 7 p.m. 

3. A representative from the Ocean County Consumer Affairs Department will help get answers for those with consumer issues from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the County Connection in the Ocean County Mall. Call 732-288-7777 for more information.

4. "Recuerdos de Espana — Memories of Spain," will be performed by the Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre at Ocean County College's Arts and Community Center at 8 p.m. Call 732-255-0500 for ticket information.
