Oct. 7: Hawks Football, PTA Fundraiser and Chess Club

1. A PTA fundraiser will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Bubbakoo's Burritos, 1311 Route 37, Toms River. Present this flyer and 15 percent of your order price will be donated to the PTA.

2. The Hawks football team will travel to Central Regional for a 7 p.m. kick off. 

3. Players of all ages and skill levels are invited to attend the Chess Club at  from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The library asks that participants bring their own boards. Call 732-657-7600 for more information.

4. The Ocean County Mentoring Program would like adult volunteers to work with boys and girls ages 8 to 11. The program coordinator will be available to discuss the details at the County Connection in the Ocean County Mall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

5. A Columbus Day Celebration Ceremony on Washington Street in Toms River will begin at 1 p.m.
