Report: Miles Driven and Calls Up, Man Hours Down for Manchester First Aid Squad

Monthly report from squad was delivered to Township Council last week

The number of miles driven and calls for assistance received by the Manchester First Aid and Rescue Squad were up from July to August, though the number of man hours spent responding to calls dipped, according to a recently prepared productivity report.

Volunteers responded to 235 calls in August, up from 211 in July, according to a productivity report prepared for the Township Council by Edward Lynch, the squad's publicity officer.

Council President Craig Wallis thanked Lynch and the all volunteers for helping their fellow residents.
