Seaside Heights Boardwalk Piers

Rides, games, food and more on the boardwalk

Casino Pier
Located at Sherman Avenue

Hours: Open 4 p.m. Fridays and noon on weekends with limited rides and attractions until June 17; From June 17 - Sept. 5, open at noon with all rides and attractions.

Attractions: Casino Pier features attractions for young and old, including go-karts (located on the corner of Grant Avenue and Ocean Terrace, $8 per driver, $2 per passenger), the 160-foot-tall Skyscraper ($20 per rider), the dizzying Musik Express, the classic log flume and more.

Tickets are available in four groupings: one ticket for $.75, 20 tickets for $12, 45 tickets for $25 and 100 tickets for $50. On Mondays and Wednesdays, $15 will buy unlimited rides from noon to 6 p.m.; on Tuesdays and Thursdays, $15 buys unlimited rides from 9 p.m. to midnight. Group sales also are available.

Metered street parking and lots offering daily rates are available.

Funtown Pier
Located at Porter Avenue

Hours: Open 6 p.m. on May 27; then open at noon everyday from May 28 through Sept. 5.

Attractions: Funtown Pier has rides for the family as well as adults, including go-carts, ferris wheel, sky coaster and of course, bumper cars.

Tickets are available in groups of 45 for $25, 100 for $50 and can be purchased online. Wristbands will be available Monday through Friday, noon to 6 p.m., for $15 starting June 20. Group rates are also available by calling.

Metered street parking and lots offering daily rates are available.

Boardwalk Attractions

In addition to the main piers, the boardwalk is home to a number of memorable arcades, such as the Coin Castle (500 Boardwalk, 732-793-1500), Lucky Leo's Arcade (315 Boardwalk, 732-793-1323) and Sonny's and Rickey's Arcade (605 Boardwalk, 732-830-3222).

Those strolling along the boards will find food stands featuring classic carnival food such as sausage and pepper sandwiches, burgers, pizza and a variety of candies. Shops and games are also plentiful.
