Sept. 14: Library Programs, Hawks Soccer and Lakehurst Historical Society

1. Parachute Fun for children ages 2-4 will be held at the of the Ocean County Library at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Call 732-657-7600 for more information.

2. Also at the library, the inspirational film "Soul Surfer" will be shown at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. The PG-rated film runs for 106 minutes.

3. The boys soccer team will travel to Barnegat for a 3:45 p.m. game, while the girls squad will also face Barnegat, at home at 3:45 p.m.

4. The Lakehurst Historical Society will be open today from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. House in the oldest Roman Catholic Church in Ocean County on 300 Center St. in Lakehurst, the society houses artifacts from the borough's rich history.
