Monday, July 18

  • Manchester's will meet at 6 p.m. at the municipal complex on Colonial Drive.

  • The library also has a Sand and Mosaics craft program for children ages 3-8 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Manchester's is scheduled to hold its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the board's office, 121 Route 539 in Whiting.
  • Kenny Vance and the Planotones will perform at Harry Wright Lake at 7 p.m., though the WOBM-sponsored Concert Fest opens at 6 p.m. Food, contests and prizes will be on-hand. More information is available online.
  • A kite making class for children 3-8 will be offered at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. at Manchester's branch of the Ocean County Library. Call 732-657-7600 for more information.
  • The foreign film "Illegal" will be screened at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the library.

Saturday, July 23

  • The Havens Homestead Museum in Brick will hold its Christmas in July decorations sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Refreshments will be available at the free program. For more information, call 732-785-2500.

  • A free outdoor concert by the Pat Mash Big Band Express will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Ocean County Library's Toms River branch, 101 Washington Street.
