Unsettled Weather Later This Week
First chance of a Tropical Storm may flirt with our area later this weekend
As Tropical Storm Harvey drops nearly 10 inches of rain over parts of Mexico, our area has our eyes on what will be known as Tropical Storm Irene which is building strength in the Eastern Caribbean and may have its sights on our region this weekend.
“There is a high chance of 80 percent that this system will become a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours," according to the National Hurricane Center.
The track of this storm will be monitored closely to determine which location along the United States coast may be at risk.

The wind may gust up to near 25 mph throughout the day.
On Tuesday, a high pressure system will settle in over our region keeping all moisture and clouds blocked out early on. The sun will then give way to clouds later on in the day. Temperatures will be in the high-70s as the low humidity continues.
