Events happening in and around Manchester this weekend
It looks like our area will encounter bouts of rain and thunderstorms on Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures should be in the mid-80s both days.
Here are some local ideas for your weekend, provided the weather holds up:
1. On Saturday, the Roustabouts will perform as part of the Summer Dock Concerts series at the Barnegat Municipal Dock at 7 p.m. Call 609-698-0080 for more information.

2. An ice cream social will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Havens Homestead Museum in Brick on Saturday. For more information, call 732-785-2500.
3. The BlueClaws will face the Greensboro Grasshoppers at 7:05 p.m. Saturday at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood. There will be a ball giveaway. Call 732-901-7000 for ticket information.

4. On Sunday, a flea market at the Seaside Park Marina on J Street will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
