1. Norma McGhie, Ms. Senior New Jersey 1995, will portray Mae West and perform Broadway hits at Manchester's branch of the Ocean County Library from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday.

2. With the newest "Twilight" film in theaters, a celebration of the series will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Manchester's branch of the Ocean County Library for students in grades 7 through 12. "Breaking Dawn Part 1" will be screened while participants make a craft. 

3. On Saturday, the Manchester Hawks girls Cross Country team will participate at the Meet of Champions at Holmdel Park at 2:10 p.m. and cheerleaders will compete in a 2:30 p.m. competition at the Poland Springs Arena.

4. The Garden State Philharmonic will present its "Classic Beauty" concert at the Ocean County College Arts and Community Center Theatre at 4 p.m. Sunday. For tickets, call 732-255-0460.

5. Evolution Martial Arts in Toms River has food, water, blankets, pillows and toiletries for those affected by Sandy. They ask anyone in need to stop by their 1565 Route 37 West location or call 732-600-0032.
