1. The "Loud and Rowdy Tales" storytelling program for residents all ages will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at of the Ocean County Library. More information is available by calling 732-657-7600.

2. "The Moon and Mars and Super Stars" will be staged by the Ocean County College Three Story Players on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. The children's musical theatre performance will be held at the B-100 Black Box Theatre. Call 732-255-0400, ext. 2101 for more information.

3. Ocean County Vocational Technical School will host the Regional Competition of the National SkillsUSA organization at the Brick Center, 350 Chambers Bridge Rd., on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call 732-244-1122.

4. Take the Super Plunge before the big game this Sunday in Brant Beach. Registration information is available online. Proceeds benefit the St. Francis Community Center and Southern Regional High School Swim Teams.

5. The 36th annual Ocean County Bluegrass Festival will be held from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Albert Music Hall, 131 Wells Mills Rd. in Waretown. Eight regional bands will perform. For more information, call 609-971-1593.
