Monday, Jan. 9

  • Manchester's will meet at 6 p.m. at the municipal complex on Colonial Drive. The agenda is available online.
  • A general meeting of the Manchester Township PTA will be held at the , 2759 Ridgeway Rd., at 7 p.m. 

Tuesday, Jan. 10

  • The boys and girls basketball teams will face Brick Township High School for 5:30 p.m. games. The boys will travel to Brick, while the girls play at home. 
  • The Ocean County Board of Social Services will be at the Community Connection in the Ocean County Mall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to talk to eligible residents about assistance programs. Call 732-288-7777 for more information.
  • A celebration of Jewish folk music will be held at of the Ocean County Library from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. For more information, call 732-657-7600.

Wednesday, Jan. 11

  • Hawks swimmers will square off against Brick Township High School at the Ocean County YMCA at 7:45 p.m. 
  • "Crazy Stupid Love" will be screened at Manchester's branch of the Ocean County Library at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. The PG-13 rated film runs 118 minutes. 

Thursday, Jan. 12

  • Free blood pressure screenings are offered today by the Ocean County Health Department. Stop by the County Connection in the Ocean County Mall from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for testing.

Friday, Jan. 13

  • A Martin Luther King Jr. celebration will be held at beginning at 7 p.m. Rev. Pamela L. Carey, founder of the non-denominational Sister's Fellowship Ministries will speak and middle and high school students will perform. Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for students and seniors. 
  • A farewell to "One Life to Live" will begin at 1:30 p.m. at Manchester's branch of the Ocean County Library. Light refreshments will be available. 

Saturday, Jan. 14

  • The Ocean County Parks Department will host its annual Winter Beach Blast in the center court of the Ocean County Mall from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. 
  • Children ages 4-8 are invited to Dale and Amy's Silly Songs Sing-Along at 11 a.m. at Manchester's branch of the Ocean County Library. Call 732-657-7600 for more information.
