  • Manchester's board of education will meet for its regular monthly meeting in Ridgeway Elementary School's media center at 7:30 p.m.
  • Lakehurst Mayor Harry Robbins invites residents to share their concerns at an informal meeting, 7:30 p.m. at the community center on Center Street.

  • The Lakehurst Borough Council will hold its second regular meeting this month beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the community center on Center Street. 
  • Learn to control glucose through diet and exercise when Jennifer Klein, a dietitian from ShopRite, hosts a seminar at Manchester's branch of the Ocean County Library starting at 2 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 17

  • Manchester and Lakehurst schools are closed for Presidents Weekend and will reopen on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
  • Players of all ages and skill levels are invited to attend the Chess Club at Manchester's library from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The library asks that participants bring their own boards. Call 732-657-7600 for more information.

Saturday, Feb. 18
