Weekly Planner: School Budget Meetings, Booster Club Comedy Night and PTA Bingo

Monday, Feb. 6

• Manchester's will meet for its regular meeting, 7 p.m. at the municipal complex on Colonial Drive. The agenda is available online. 
• Tickets go on sale for the production of "The Drowsy Chaperone" from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the school's lobby. The drama club production will be performed on Friday, March 2 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 3 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 7

• The Writer's Circle will meet at  of the Ocean County Library from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The group allows aspiring and accomplished writers to share tips and critique each other's works. Call 732-657-7600 for more information.

Wednesday, Feb. 8

• The first of two preliminary school budget meeting begins at 6 p.m. at . Department heads and school principals will present their proposed budgets for the 2012-13 school year to the Board of Education. 

Thursday, Feb. 9

• School administrators will continue to hear presentations from during the second session of budget presentations beginning at 6 p.m. at Ridgeway Elementary School. 
• Free blood pressure screenings are offered today by the Ocean County Health Department. Stop by the County Connection in the Ocean County Mall from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for testing.

Friday, Feb. 10

• Candy Bar Bingo, hosted by the Manchester PTA, will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Manchester Township Middle School. Space is limited for the free event. Check out the flier online.
• A comedy night hosted by the Manchester Township Booster Club will take place at 7 p.m. at the Triboro First Aid Squad in Seaside Park. Comedian Rich Meyer will perform. Saturday, Feb. 11

• Patch will be at the Ocean County Business/Consumer Expo at the Ocean County Mall. Stop by to say hello. We'll be there Sunday, too.
