Monday, Sept. 19

  • Back to School Night at begins at 6:30 p.m. Additional meetings for parents of basic skills students begin at 6 p.m.

  • Manchester's will meet in the courtroom of the township's municipal complex at 7 p.m.
  • The Writer's Circle will meet at  of the Ocean County Library from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The group allows aspiring and accomplished writers to share tips and critique each other's works. Call 732-657-7600 for more information.

Wednesday, Sept. 21

  • After holding its summer public meetings at administration offices in Whiting, Manchester's will return to Ridgeway Elementary School at 7:30 p.m. for its September meeting.
  • Parents looking to get their children ages 1-6 out of the house can take them to Drop in Play, also at the library's Manchester Branch. Children can play with the library's toys in the meeting room 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • Also at the library, students in grades 6-12 can stop by between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. for homework help with Teen Librarian Joanne. Call 732-657-7600 for more information.

Thursday, Sept. 22

  • Manchester's zoning board will meet in the auditorium of the township's at 7 p.m. The for a proposed skilled nursing facility will continue to be heard.
