'A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum'

The Ocean County Vocational Technical School’s Performing Arts Academy (PAA) are presenting ‘A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum’ at the historic Strand Theater in Lakewood on February 23, 24 and 25.

The Friday, February 24th evening performance will be at 7 p.m. A Red Carpet Reception held at the theater prior to the Friday evening performance and will feature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment and a silent auction. Tickets for the reception/performance are $75 and can be purchased by calling 732.240.6414 x3327.

There will be two performances on Saturday February 25; a matinee at 2 p.m. and a show at 7 p.m. Tickets are $19.

Tickets for all performances can be purchased through the Strand Theater Box Office at www.strand.org or by calling 732.367.7789.

The Performing Arts Academy, located at the OCVTS Lakehurst Center, is a four-year public high school which provides performing arts curricula focused in dance, vocal music and acting along with a college preparatory academic program. What about when you needed a job, who gave you one? With the Director gone work will start going to contractors again. Everyone will pay. Taxpayers and employees. Did you read the article he wrote? If you didn't maybe you should. You too, nobody special. Who hired you? You will be picking up trash real soon. Are you going to grieve that too?

How about his articles in magazines with pictures of his workers? He wrote about how his workers saved the town money. HE got them all raises, NOT the union. Yes let's start with TOP HEAVY supervision. Start at the TOP on the 2nd floor of town hall. Time to cut some of the FAT!
