Elderly Wall Man Found Safe in Manchester

Richard Craw has been reunited with his family, say Wall police

Richard Craw, 94, of Wall,Β has been found safe in Manchester and has reunited with his family, according to Wall police.

Craw had apparently driven from the Shop Rite plaza on Route 34 in Wall to Manchester, where he turned up safe, without any injuries, and the car was not damaged, said Wall PoliceΒ Sgt. Sean O’Halloran.

O'Halloran alerted Patch that Craw had been found just after getting off the phone with the Manchester police department and did not yet have details about where in Manchester Craw was found.

Craw had been missing since late Friday morning when he dropped off his caretaker at the Shop Rite on Route 34 in Wall, police said. The caretaker expected Craw, who suffers from dementia, to park the car and wait for her to come out of the store.

However, when the woman walked back into the parking lot, Craw was gone, said police, who had scoured the lot and surrounding areas.
