The scene: Easy to miss buried behind bank and retail storefronts at the intersection of Route 70 and Ridgeway Road in Manchester, Donovan’s is a pleasant escape from the typical “restaurant and bar” chains that have invaded our area. It provides an authentic neighborhood bar experience, but don’t think for one minute that it’s just about the drinks. The moment you walk in the door, you'll find, potentially, some of your newest and closest friends enjoying a tasty full course meal as you share stories in a welcoming, relaxing environment.

The eats: When one thinks of what tastes good with a beer, the typical response is something barbequed. Burgers, steaks or wings. And Donovan's has them. Anything you would expect to see from a bar/restaurant combination is under their roof. Don’t forget to try the seafood. All at reasonable prices, too.
