So....This was in such poor taste, first for the person filming it and second for anyone forwarding it on. You the Patch are just as bad for putting this on as NEWS. If I was one of the family members whose loved one was involved in that accident I would be suing the ass off you (the person who filmed it)for invasion of privacy. Have you no decency as a human being or respect for another person. How dare you???

I don't see what was so offensive, disrespectful or in bad taste. It was a video of a very serious accident where trained personnel came together from every town & secured the scene & took care of the injured in a very professional manner. If one of my family members were ever in a bad accident, (Gosh forbid) I would want to see the video & I'm sure they would too.

I'm thinking they were filming "for the lawsuits", just saying.

I read elsewhere that the drive responsible had no license and is being held by immigration!

The police are still figuring out what happened yet so please do not jump to comclusions. Yes, The driver of the SUV was unlicensed and is being held on a detainer from ICE but eyewitnesses at the scene said the driver of the van was in the far right lane and tried making a left turn so it was his fault the accident occured. Either way, they have not laid blame on either driver yet so please wait until the police conclude their investigation before you assume.

I agree with C. I did not find it offensive. People need to see this fact of life. Many drivers lack rudimentary common sense and perhaps viewing this video will enlighten them. How many thousands of words does it equal? But we need elected officials aka political hacks to wake up the the poorly designed roads and lack of planning for the increased traffic. Many areas lack any shoulder. Poor lighting throughout. Not enough traffic control devices (not necessarily lights). And most of all more pedestrian crossings. This was not part of this accident but is part of the problem in too many cars on the road decried loudly by Political hacks but never seriously addressed.
