Man Charged With Possessing Steroids In Lakehurst
Police charged Luis Angel Gonzalez after stopping his 2004 Ford Mustang as he drove west on Union Avenue, at approximately 2:30 p.m.
A 30-year-old man was charged in Lakehurst Saturday for possessing anabolic steroids and a hypodermic syringe, police said.

Officer Matthew Kline had observed the driver talking on a cell phone before pulling him over, police said.

Kline conducted an on-scene investigation, which led to the discovery of a vial of Testosterone Cypionate (the anabolic steroid), and a hypodermic syringe.
Gonzalez was arrested and transported to Lakehurst Police Headquarters for processing. He was charged with possession of anabolic steroids, possession of a hypodermic syringe, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle and talking on a cell phone, police said.
