Man Seriously Injured In Whiting Motocycle Collision

Keith Larocca of Englishtown collided with a deer while traveling eastbound on Pasadena Road, police said

A 47-year-old man was seriously injured Sunday in a motorcycle collision with a deer in Whiting, police said.

At approximately 4:02 pm, a motorcycle operated by Keith Larocca of Englishtown collided with a deer while traveling eastbound on Pasadena Road, police said.

As a result of the collision, the operator was ejected from the motorcycle, causing him to sustain significant injuries to his head, face and chest.

Larocca was subsequently transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center by a MONOC Medevac Helicopter. Quality Medical Transport and MONOC Paramedics assisted at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by Manchester Traffic Safety Officer Ian Bole.Β
